1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and AutoMaster Auto Repair ("AutoMaster," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of our website located at www.automaster.com and all automotive services provided at our facility. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services or website.

2. Services

AutoMaster provides automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostic services. All services are performed by ASE-certified technicians or technicians under qualified supervision. We reserve the right to refuse service to any person or vehicle at our sole discretion.

Service estimates are provided in good faith based on initial inspection. Actual costs may differ if additional issues are discovered during the repair process. We will contact you for written or verbal authorization before performing any work beyond the original estimate that exceeds an additional $100 or 10% of the original estimate, whichever is greater.

3. Authorization to Perform Work

By signing a repair authorization form, submitting an online appointment request, or verbally authorizing repairs, you grant AutoMaster permission to perform the agreed-upon services on your vehicle. You represent that you are the legal owner of the vehicle or have the owner's explicit authorization to authorize repairs.

AutoMaster may conduct a test drive of your vehicle as necessary to diagnose problems, verify repairs, and ensure quality of work. All test drives are conducted by licensed AutoMaster employees within a reasonable geographic area.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due in full upon completion of services before vehicle release unless prior credit arrangements have been approved in writing by AutoMaster management. We accept cash, major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), and approved financing.

Vehicles not picked up within 5 business days of completion notice may be subject to storage fees of up to $35 per day. AutoMaster reserves the right to exercise a mechanic's lien under applicable state law for unpaid services.

Returned checks are subject to a $35 returned check fee plus any applicable bank charges.

5. Parts and Materials

AutoMaster uses OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or high-quality OEM-equivalent aftermarket parts unless you specifically request otherwise in writing. We are not responsible for delays caused by parts availability. Replaced parts will be made available for customer inspection upon request before disposal.

If you supply your own parts, AutoMaster's warranty on labor does not extend to failures caused by or attributable to customer-supplied parts.

6. Vehicle Release and Abandoned Vehicles

A vehicle not retrieved within 30 days of written notice of completion may be treated as abandoned pursuant to applicable state abandoned property laws. AutoMaster shall have the right to pursue legal remedies available under state law, including sale of the vehicle to satisfy outstanding balances.

7. Liability Limitation

AutoMaster's liability for any claim arising from automotive services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim. AutoMaster is not liable for pre-existing conditions, for damage caused by failure of parts not repaired, or for consequential, incidental, indirect, or punitive damages of any kind.

AutoMaster is not responsible for loss or theft of personal items left in your vehicle. We recommend removing all valuables prior to service.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall first be submitted to informal mediation. If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association (AAA) Commercial Arbitration Rules, conducted in the state where our facility is located. Class action waiver: you agree that all claims must be brought individually, not as a class action.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which AutoMaster operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

1. Limited Warranty Coverage

AutoMaster provides the following limited warranty on services performed at our facility:

• Labor: 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the date of service.
• OEM and OEM-Equivalent Parts: 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first), or the manufacturer's warranty period if longer.
• Tires: Subject to the tire manufacturer's warranty only; AutoMaster does not provide a separate labor warranty for tire-related failures.
• Wearable Items: Brake pads, brake shoes, wiper blades, belts, hoses, filters, light bulbs, and similar consumable parts carry a 90-day / 3,000-mile warranty on parts and labor.

2. What the Warranty Covers

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in the specific repair or service performed. If a covered component fails within the warranty period due to a defect in the part itself or improper installation by AutoMaster, we will repair or replace the component and provide the associated labor at no charge to you.

3. What the Warranty Does NOT Cover

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, neglect, vandalism, fire, flood, or acts of nature.
• Damage caused by improper maintenance, unauthorized modifications, or repairs performed by another shop after AutoMaster's service.
• Pre-existing conditions unrelated to the specific repair performed.
• Normal wear and tear of covered components after warranty expiration.
• Customer-supplied parts (labor warranty only applies to AutoMaster-sourced parts).
• Consequential or incidental damages, including but not limited to rental car costs, towing charges, or lost wages.
• Issues resulting from continued vehicle operation after a warning was provided by AutoMaster of additional required repairs.

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, you must:

• Contact AutoMaster at +1 (900) 123-4567 or warranty@automaster.com within the warranty period to report the issue.
• Present your original repair order or invoice as proof of service.
• Return the vehicle to AutoMaster for inspection. The warranty is void if repairs are performed by a third party before AutoMaster has an opportunity to inspect and address the issue.

AutoMaster will inspect the vehicle within 2 business days of your warranty claim and, if the claim is approved, complete covered repairs within a commercially reasonable time based on parts availability.

5. Transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies solely to the original customer named on the repair order. It does not transfer upon sale or transfer of ownership of the vehicle.

6. Relationship to Manufacturer's Warranty

Certain parts carry their own manufacturer's warranty, which may be separate from and in addition to AutoMaster's labor warranty. In such cases, AutoMaster will assist you in submitting a claim to the parts manufacturer where applicable.

7. Disclaimer of Implied Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
